Do you want to work in Poland?

Living in Poland can be a big adventure. You won't have any trouble communicating because a lot of people speak English. In addition, we have a low unemployment rate and salaries are still increasing. If you are thinking about moving to Poland then you should remember that non-EU citizens need permission to work legally in this country.

Work permit type A is for foreigners who work for an employer in the territory of Poland, whose headquarters, place of residence or department, institution or another form of organized activity is located on the territory of Poland. Foreigners also have to live legally in Poland. They require visas, Schengen visas, temporary residence permits based on visa-free travel. So, how to apply for a permit? The employer applies for a work permit for a foreigner. A foreigner can only do what is specified in the permit. If they want to change jobs, they need a new permit. The exception is when the same employee gives them different types of work. In that case the permit remains valid.

Documents which are added to the application need to be certified original or officially in order to comply with the original. A work permit type A will be issued if the salary for work is less than the general salary of employees in the same position or other employees for similar work.  But, if you have work permit type A you can also apply for visa. In order to get a visa to perform work, a foreigner should attach a work permit or a written statement from the employer about the intention to entrust work to a foreigner if the working papers isn't required.
